I listened to Emotionalism each way for four days back and forth to Fitchburg in 2009. It's really great music. If I was going to go see a live show, they would be at the top of my list.

a 1 hour live show on Paladium a couple of weeks ago and was shocked at how good/fun they were!

not sure how I feel about the Avett Brothers yet.

I feel sometimes on first listen, unless I'm in a mindset to absorb the music properly, I could just listen it over once and dismiss it. I've done that in the past many times only to come back to it under the right circumstances and fall in love with the music.

That being said... the soundtrack for the new Tron movie is phenomenal. I haven't heard a record so well put together beginning to end in a LONG LONG time. considering it's Daft Punk doing the composition... I was floored at how they've deviated from what they normally do, into this experimental sorta ground for them.
