Can anybody suggest a good place to get away and cycle for a week in Dec for Karen and I. We want to tandem in warmer weather than Washington DC. Thanks Smiley

Wow, is that invite open to all members?

I have a good friend who lives down there, inside the beltway. Being the normal forumite, I always bring a bike when we visit. Unfortunately, compared to where I live, Raleigh seems somewhat biker unfriendly. I usually wind up doing laps at the NC state centennial campus.
Can you suggest any better rides. Thanks.

We have gone to (colonial) Williamsburg the past few years, including around Christmas. Probably not as warm as NC, but it is nice there and the roads look good.

N.C. is nice, but the weather, roads and cycling friendly area of Tucson is the place to go without question! Let me know if you need any help with epic rides in the Tucson area. And I do mean EPIC.
