What wireless speedo w/cadence have folks been having good luck with these days? I'm only interested in those two features, so anything else is a waste, though I am sure will get about six, or more, additional features as a default. Smaller is, of course, better. Thanks.

I've used several over the years.

Currently, Sigma 1609. Probably the sleekest. At first it wasn't working because I used the magnet that had been on the wheel. Had to actually use the Sigma magnet. Since then, except for interference from my L&M HID, it's been flawless. Mounts are a little odd - had to fiddle to get them close enough but not so much that they interfered (little tabs for rubber band attachment stick out too much). Very clear and easy to read.

Had Vetta V100. Pretty good. Not sure if the basic is still available.

Cateye, something like CDW130? Speed and cadence sensor were one unit. Which was fine, but that design was fragile and the sensor broke far too easily. Small display.

I'd recommend the Sigma.

I'm hooked on Vetta V100.

Picked the last one of the 'bay for less than $60. New mount works on either handlebar or stem.
Had problem with one transmitter (it ate the battery quickly); company took care of the issue promptly.

No I understand. The Vetta is nice but you go through batteries like crazy and even with the new speed sensor I was eating batteries. Not sure why they can figure that out. Otherwise good for the $.

Hey...FWIW...CritUSA has it on Ebay for $69.99 shipped: http://cgi.ebay.com/Cateye-CC-RD400DW-Strada-Double-Wireless-Bike-Computer-/120633172757?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c164c2315

I have the Cateye DW on one bike and have had zero issues...I would love to find a source for a second mount/sensor at a reasonable price, myself.

Thanks. Forwarded to my wife and, hopefully, she will not be so slow as to miss out.
