Some 10-year old pulleys are starting to act up. Imagine that. I'd like to replace with something better than the bushing setup they use, maybe something with a sealed bearing.

I am not interested in ceramic or any $150 pulleys which save 1.794 grams and cause .885 of a watt less resistance. But I am looking for something smooth and durable which will not degrade shifting and add noise to the drivetrain.

Do I need to just get original Campagnolo replacement pulleys? Or is there an aftermarket pulley which is good and not gimmicky?

I would just get Campagnolo replacement pulleys.

Originals lasted 10 years......OEM is my first choice.

Why? How are cart bearings 'better'? They lasted 10 years, are simple, not expensive..seems an easy one to me.

When I was 16 I worked at a Performance. My first paycheck I spent on purple carmichael pulley's and purple chainring bolts. I'd get those to keep your bike classy...
