Cyclocross Nats in WI

Had heard that the 2012 and 2013 Nationals were coming to Madison, but just found out they'll actually be held no more than 1/2 mile away from yours truly in a wilderness area known as Badger Prairie Park. An area very well known to me from my running days (I'm not currently a 'cross rider).

I'll have to get out right after the first of the year and see what the course is like then. Of course, in early January it could be 30 degrees F (-1 C) and have only a couple of inches of snow on the ground... or... minus 10 F (-23 C) with 20 inches of the white stuff and sizable drifts. Did I mention the wind chill? :D

i think its a bad idea to move it there.if the weather is really bad try to travel will be a pain.trying to find the right place in january will be hard.

Sure, my wife is really into frozen mud and muck strewn about.

Sounds to me like the first year the Cross Nats were in Providence...only with the possibility of being a heck of a lot worse. Made for some great spectating though.
