OT: how do you sell out an iphone app?

enable flash for iphone - kind of

i found out about skyfire, an app that allows you to view flash video on your mobile, now for the iphone.
so great is the void in the iphone world that it effectively overwhelmed capacity on skyfire's servers within 5 hours of its release. during those 5 hours, it became the "top grossing app, the third highest paid app overall and the top application in the Utilities category"

5 hours dude.

i know i'll be downloading it as soon as it's available again.

I don't know what the hell everyone is doing on their phone that I don't.

I've had a first gen, a 3GS and an iPhone 4... I used them for the net (as well as phone, camera, iPod etc) and I've never been hindered by the lack of Flash.

I'm working with the mobile network operator on their transport network. If it weren't stressed already, it might be in the near future...
