Hi all,
just throwing out an invite to any Austin,TX folks that are interested in riding the Marble Falls area 1/14-1/21.
Our club, from Minnesota, is going to do a winter trip as it is pure heaven to ride when it's ice and snow in MN!!!
Club has been going there for several years as one club member has family there. Last year was my first trip.
Some are flying to Austin and renting cars. I'm looking at that option as it's a loooong drive down. There are some really good ticket prices right now.
I am, however, grossed out that the car rental appears to be more than the airline tickets.
Anyone know of any other car rental options in Austin, like a "rent a wreck" type operation to rent a car or small SUV? My non-riding wife may go so probably only needs to hold one bike + luggage.
I will need to re-read the recent Austin thread to get BBQ reviews etc.
Last year I was accidently left behind on BBQ night so never got to sample it :(
Is Fredericksburg area riding same as Marble Falls? Thinking of Hell Week too
