I'm considering purchasing a "supercorsa" from GVH and I have
had no luck so far in getting info in concern to ride and geometry.
Well.....I'm incorrect there in that I did read some reviews on roadbikereview.com and most were very positive....but still no info
as far as geometry(bottom-bracket height? wheelbase? chainstays?)
on the 64cm size.
Anyone have experience with these Cinellis?
thanks!

*I was really hoping to get a deal on a MX Leader or Team SC...apparently
those opportunities have fallen through!

At one time last year I was considering a Super Corsa and contacted these guys (http://www.americancyclery.com/CINELLI/index.html) about them. The gave me all the info I asked for.

Thanks for the link Dave.......
I also found some others myself...Bullteks and Licktons also sell Cinelli's.
Lickton has a ridiculous price on the "supercorsa"!
It's just so hard though getting "geometry" out of these retailers!!
I'm sorry to be a "pain-in-the-butt"..but I have an idea of what works
for myself in regards to "bike-fit"..wheelbase, bottom-bracket height, etc.

I found a bunch of reviews of this frameset on roadbikereview.com
all very positive!!
Thanks again Dave!

I had a Cinelli Supercorsa SLX from the late 80s. It was a nice riding bike. The one thing I hated was the paint. It would chip just looking at it. Further, the chrome lugs would rust, especially if you run a pump under the top tube.

I highly recommend you get the frameset clearcoated BEFORE building it up.

As for geometry, check Cinelli's website:

Carlos,
I am one of the few who wrote reviews of the Supercorsa on roadbikereview.com. If you want "geometry" of the 64cm, you may write to Cinelli. Good luck.

also get the serial # of any prospective frame and find out if it is a mid-90s or earlier....don't know the exact date but Cinelli contracted out those frames to a different builder than they had previously used and the overall quality slipped....ask the guys at the link Dave Thompson posted
