Does anyone have experience of using the Dinotte Vis180 red rear light? It's the rechargeable lithium ion (I think) model. I've read that it knocks the socks off any other red light on the market for brightness. Wondering how it stands up to repeated use and abuse over time.

I have a 200L Dinotte tail light. Its reputation for being super bright is well deserved. It's far brighter than anything else I've owned.

Mine is going into its 4th winter. I have Dinotte headlights as well; all the Dinotte equipment has done well for me. I did have one battery that failed to hold a charge after 2 years of use, and Dinotte sold me a replacement at a pretty good discount (I forget the details).

I'm not familiar with the 180 that you mentioned.

I have a 200L and a friend has a 400L.

Both are excellent lights.

I would not hesitate to purchase a DiNotte.

the model you are referring to is a Light and Motion product. I use a Dinotte 400 rear light, cars move over when they pass, a very bright tail light.Expensive but worth it to me. L&M compares the Vis180 to the Planet bike Superflash so it is probably fairly bright, havent seen one in action though.

OK, that explains my own confusion. Thanks.

Maybe this is the Dinotte taillight you meant. It's new, not a lot of info about it.

The link didn't post right. Click on the Lithium Ion rechargeable light. Then you'll see the 300R Red taillight with built in batteries.
