White Sands Century

Has anyone ridden this ride before. It is on the White Sands Missile range in New Mexico and I guess the roads are completely closed to traffic. Coming up the 23rd and I was wondering if anyone knew what the course was like.

I lived at White Sands Missile Range for two years in the early 90s. We didn't have a century purely on the range, so this must be a new one. We did have a century that ran from Las Cruces, over the St Augustin pass on Hwy 70, then south through the main post and then west back to Las Cruces. But, I did ride most of my rides on WSMR. The roads are generally good south of Hwy 70. I doubt they will take your north but if so, it is probably okay, just not generally accessible on a daily basis, even now. The roads on the base are mostly flat with a couple of long gradual inclines, unless they take you up the pass.
