Wanted to pass along a new, awesome cyclocross tire. Switched from some old Michelin Muds to some Clement Crusade PDXs 700x34 for this weekend, and it was incredible. Fast tires, lots of traction, good in the sand. Didn't win my race, but came close (top 5).
Highly recommended, and not that expensive. Tree Fort Bikes has a good price for the folding bead tires. In any event, a great CX clincher. Enjoy.

+1 on the Clementes.
I got a set recently to use as mud tires while I continue to use my Fangos for almost everything else.
They really hook up well, roll nicely, and shed mud like crazy.
All that for $39.95 each or better if they are on sale.

Great to know! Was looking for an alternative to the Mud tire. I'm going to give these shot. Any idea what they might retail at the LBS?

I believe they're $39.95 each at www.cyclocrossworld.com
They were in stock before this past weekend's Gloucester races.

MSRP is $45.99 (which is the price at my local shop). Can't recommend these enough... had our Seattle CX training + "training race" this morning and I do still love the tires...
