Turnaround time from the factory...

I'm interested in ordering a stock Fierte 'cross frame, or a CIII (also a cross) in a stock size. Does anyone have an accurate idea of turnaround time from placing the order to receiving it? My LBS gave me a range of 2 weeks to 2 months...but that's as narrow a timeframe they could give.

Any insight is much appreciated.

Last I knew it was 2 to 4 weeks. Your shop can find out when you get ready to buy (color if non-standard might take longer).

I was told four weeks. Don't you go and start saying two.

Mine's not getting painted, maybe that speeds it up some.

LBS ordered a Legend Ti for a customer that had been on a Seven and it was wrecked. Seven had measurements and all and said 6 weeks.

Serotta said maybe 2 weeks and it was in shop and built in 7 DAYS!!!

The mechanic was at Serotta several months ago and said they are doing a much better job of building and getting bikes out!!!!
