As winter in the northeast approaches...

Anyone know if these are sold in the U.S. yet? Moreover, anyone have any feedback on the first generation?

I had version 1, and I never had any issues with them. They did the job that they were supposed to, and given the limited coverage, they did it very well.

I ordered mine off of the Pro Bike website and they were cheap and fast to deliver.

Does your frame have eyelets for fenders? I just installed the Planet Bike's Road Hardcore fenders on my commuter bike and they seem to work well. I think it probably has better coverage than the cruds.

It was a tight fit but at the end some zip ties helped.

Picture of them on my bike:

i had a set of the mks race blade fenders on for a while. the adjustment was tedious and it rattled to high hell. got rid of em.

I guess you're not the kind of person to see the glass as half full?

It's not even fall yet! September/October/November are some of the best riding months in the North East.

What's the biggest tire you can fit on these?

Edit: nevermind, it's 25mm.

Found it on the US website, www.crudusa.com (in case you don't want them cheaper from PBK ;) ).

just planning in advance!

the crudusa site has the first gen still for sale. th mk2apparently has better coverage. i read that the road racers are supposed to be pretty easy to install.

my bike doesnt have fender mounts.

i sent an email to the co. i'll report back what they say for those who care.
