For Sale: 2008 Meivici GS Frame and Fork

I bought his frame and fork a few years ago from a former Serotta employee and absolutely loved it, but after a few years of back pain I have come to the realization that it is just the wrong size for me.

The frame is listed as a 58cm, but it is clearly mis-marked. Serial # MG-58-00015
Measurements are as follows:

Top Tube Actual: 54cm
Seat Tube: 50cm
Head Tube: 14cm

Frame is in GREAT shape, but The aluminum drop out of the right fork leg is bent. I lost my grip as I was putting it on the roof rack and it simply fell over.
I'm pretty sure that Serotta or Calfee can replace the drop out, if not I am willing to include a brand new, never cut Easton EC90 fork. Also comes with a Chris King Soto Voce Headset. FSA SLK Seat Post

$3000.00 Shipped

Thanks for looking!

That drop out was covered under a warranty exchange programe, ask your dealer to send it in as I am sure the folks at Serotta want to make it right.

Those drop outs were designed wrong and a newer beefier drop out has replaced it. Good luck on the sale and this should enhance your value for the bike.

Where are you located, Dash? I have a friend who well might be interested, but he, or someone he knows, will want to see the bike and take detailed measurements first.

I will vouch for Dash and as to fork, as SMILEY said, this was na issue with S3 aluminum fork tips. I do not recall when I rode with Dash at RIde the ROckies if that was an S3 or F3.

If S3 it is covered if F3 I will get a quote on replacement and Serotta will be glad to do it.

Bike is in good shape and no crashes

DASH is in DENVER!!!

Sir Pete, the decal picture is of an S3 fork so u'r pal Dash is certainly under warranty if the deadline has not passed to get these fork tips replaced.

Pete, u can leave this baby in sticky FOREVER but Mr Dash needs to get more details on this frame if he expects to sell it. Your street cred ain't going to do it for him sorry pal. At this price point buyers want to know STA and HTA and stand over and yeah trail would be nice too. No way an educated forumite on this forum won't know what these numbers are or mean from a fit and ride standpoint.

Dash, do more homework if you want to garner top dollar for your frame and fork. And start by getting the fork fixed cause the warranty is TO THE ORIGINAL OWNER. Just my words of advice for a well indtended sale for both buyer and seller.

On the S3 fork talk to Mike Lopez and ship it for repair now. It is under your warranty and is a good fork. (I bent one and Mike fixed to)
