Another carbone tubular wheel ?

Does any one remeber the zipp 340's? if so can you tell me about them i know someone trying to sell a set for 300 bucks and am wondering if their worth it. will be used for fast training and some raceing I weight about 200 give or take a twinky. :crap:

The 340's dont have the smoothest brake track and are prone to developing high spots at the nipple interface which causes pulsing when braking.I still have a 340 on the rear,the front was replaced with a 303 because of uneven braking. I would only consider them if they have a fairly high spoke count, I weigh 143 lbs and have 28/ 2 cross rear.You pobably would like a 32 hole. Ask about the condition of brake area.The hubs have improved year by year,the newer the better.
