Ultimate commuter Belt Drive Trek Customized Trek District..56cm Frame/fork/carbon belt drive and spockets. All other parts removed and replaced with lighter ..better quality parts to remove over 3lbs from bike.High end parts from KCNC,RaceFace,Fizik,Ritchey,Paul components,Jagwire and so on. The 700c boat anchor wheelset was also replaced with a $400.00 custom built 650b wheelset. This is what Trek should have done from the beginning.. with the 700c wheels..clearance was tight and allowed for only skinny tires. With the 650b's ..room for 42mm tires while maintaining the original geometry. Also room for fenders ..eyelets are on frame.

The bike is in brand new condition with less than 20 miles of test riding.

Bike will be sold with a custom build wheelset with Brand new Shimano XT hubs, Velocity Synergy rims and DB spokes .. and brand new Grand Bois Ourson tires.

Bike retails for $1099.00 .. $800.00 in new parts and wheels

$1100.00 obo Email for better pictures

Would prefer a local sale MA ..but will work with whomever.

this is definitely a cool bike for its intended purpose. looks like all the upgrades you did work very well together.

just curious, reason for sale? seems like you put a lot of thought and effort into this little beauty.

This was a fun project for my 13yr old .. he rode it ..loved it ..but in today's world.. I feel better driving him around... sad but true. He is also growing like a weed and at 6'.. it will soon be too small.

Its all fun.

Thanks for the inquiry. -D

cool bike!

i've ridden the stock district a few times and really liked it. very snappy bike, lightweight and fun to ride. the belt drive is far more responsive than i expected.

i thought the very same thing when i first saw it - this bike needs more clearance for tires/fenders - lose the crappy orange wheels and replace with a nice 650B wheelset. good work on the conversion.

someone will love this thing.
