I have a Peg with a 29.4 STD, and I see virtually no conventional choices for a post in silver. A possibility is Bold Precision which does full custom in Ti. Their clamping mechanism seems a bit small, and I saw a thread somewhere that it's too small for Selle Italia saddles. I was thinking of doing a Fizik Arione. Anyone have any experience with Bold on this issue? Thanks.

No experience with Bold. If you're not against a shim though it may open up some options.....Nitto, Thomson, Shimano, PMP Titanium, Deda Zero 100. All very good.
Anyway, I probably didn't offer anything you didn't already know, just trying to help. Good luck!

Yeah, I see Problem Solvers has a 29.4 shim that would step down to 27.2.
Do I really want a shim in a Peg? Aesthetically that's like asking Heidi Klum to wear Jockey underwear. But it would work plus save some cash. Thanks.

BOLD out of PA is pretty good.. TOO TALL on the other forum had one on his bike and I almost got one until I went to the ERIKSEN, which I like a lot.

No problems with a Bold post and Arione.

Saw one in the closeout bin at this Performance store two weeks ago.
IIRC, $45

Thought about it, but I've been happy with a shim on my Marcelo.
