Winter is cool.....bikes that is.

So lately I've been bitten by the track bug and I've been spending some of my time wandering the web looking at different frames and builders. I've seen a lot of really cool builds out there but this is one I came across that just keeps flashing back in my mind. I'm not familiar with the builder but he's located near my old stomping grounds so he can't be all bad ;) It looks like he's shown at NAHBS as well. Any one riding or familiar his work (http://www.winterbicycles.com/products/bicycles.html) out there?

I'm sure it's a number of things that draw me to it...the color to me is the right combo of class and flash. Just enough of both, but not over top.

The integrated bar and stem has a quite beautiful, almost sculpted look to it.

And as many of you know I'm a sucker for silky smooth fillet brazed tubes.

"Wow" is the word in my head every time I look at those pictures. Enjoy! :cool:

I'd be interested in seeing a bike with TOO MUCH flash.

It is a sweet bike, and I don't disagree that it is classy, but that is quite the statement if you showed up to the track on that thing. Reminds me of the "gold shoes" that olympic sprinters wear.

Oh, it's certainly meant to be noticed. I think if the stem/bar combo were chrome it would tone it down a bit. To me that warm gold isn't as garish as some of the other golds I've see out there. Speaking of gold...
