Seneca Lake/Watkins Glen area

heading to Watkins Glen area Sept 9th for the vintage grand prix weekend. taking my bike and plan on a couple rides around the wineries. wondering if anyone knows of any gravel rds or trails that might link the wineries together rather than riding blacktop all the time?

Leslie and I had a couple of nice rides along the Erie Canal Towpath which is sometimes gravel. No hills but a neat lttle town evey few miles. There is also a rails-treails gravel pathway that we rode from north of Mendon. I'm not sure how close they get to the Glen but it can't be too far.

The NY State Wine and Culinary Institute is in Cannandaigua and they serve good stuff at moderate prices.
