Need Advice: Installing Ultegra 6700 shifters

Hey Everyone,

I just picked up a 6700 group and am having trouble seeing where you loosen the clamp on the shifters. On the older versions, you slid the allen wrench along the side of the shifter. I checked the tech support guide on Shimano's website but I'm still not seeing where the bolt is. I might be blind. Any help/tips would be greatly appreciated.

It's under the hood now (on top).....similar to a Sram or Campy

Ya gotta pull the top of the hood WAAAAY foreward to get to it, quite similar to Campy, as previously stated. Also, I suggest feeding your cables through the levers BEFORE installing them on the bar. Much easier to negotiate with, IMO. Jeff N.
