ok...what dofo wants now is a surly karate monkey set up as a fixie...an all-purpose winter beast, or to break the summer road monotony...fixed, road pedals, cross knobbies, cantis...but...drop or flat bar????

doof would use it on the road and at the local parks for the great sport of doofuscross, which involves no dismounts....

I don't know if this makes it more or less appealing, but I saw a Karate Monkey chained to a tree in Burlington, VT a few weeks ago set up exactly as you're planning, with drops bars. It still had Nokian studded tires on it, but I think the were about ready to come off.

You might have one of only two in the known universe. But I doubt it. :cool:
