In Seattle and have a few hours to ride tomorrow.
I'd like to ride but need to find a shop to rent a bike from. Im staying in downtown but preferably in the UW area.

Got my kit and helmet.

They have a store by Green Lake.....in between Downtown and the U-District.

Not sure if they rent bikes, but they should be able to set you up....

There is also a Performance Bike store right off the I-5 exit to the U District

If they neither rents, I am sure they could point you in the right direction.

it's only a couple blocks from Pike place market. there is also Velo cycle in Capital hill, a bit further away. Recycled cycles would be a good place to rent from but I would sty Elliot Bay Cycles first.

Oops -- I guess should have added -- if you're doing the loop of Lake Washington today, watch out for low-flying fighter aircraft painted blue.
