Got a light scratch on Serotta Ti Stem in travel this weekend. Anyone have a solution to removing it? Thanks in advance!

It can be done but i forget which fine wool to use on it. Call Lindsey and ask her to find out from shop floor what grade they use. (yep tell her Pete was the name dropper).

Is it brushed in a satin finish or blasted giving a matte finish?

try a scotchbrite pad! works great.

there is also a watchmaker's tool, made in switzerland by Bergeon, that repairs scratches in "brushed" metal. It's about 25 bucks on ebay. Just some glass filaments in a pen-type holder.

If it is a brushed finish scotchbrite pads work well. If it's a bead blasted matte finish you'll have a tough time buffing out the scratch to match with anything short of reblasting.

Pretty sure it is a beaded matte.

If you want to spend the money, Spectrum Power words does beading blasting that looks pretty good.

Gray Scotchbrite. Will change the appearance some - use it on the entire stem to match.
