I was riding home last night and stopped at Whole Foods Market here in Seattle for some dinner fixins. Parked at the bike rack was a very cool older Serotta. It was built using Columbus SLX, had straight chainstays and brazed on cable loops on the top of the top tube. It appeared to have the original red finish with all the appropriate decals and stickers intact. Someone had obviously taken very good care of it and had updated the componenets to 9 speed Carbon Record. My guess was that this was a frame from the early to mid 80's and I was wondering if it belonged to a forum member here is Seattle.
