I am looking to swap some cranks around. Does anyone have any real experience tossing Campy 11sp rings on 10sp UT cranks?
I can't imagine the spider thickness is that different but what do i know...

I had it done this year (my LBS did). The mechanic said it was a pain to do but he got it done. I have not had any problems with the shifting, works well.

whats the difference in 10s and 11s chainrings?

when i ordered some gebhardt rings, i asked if the road rings would work with 10s chains, they told me the inner plate width on the chains is the same.

are the pins different?

The place that might not fit up properly is the bolt mounting area behind the crankarm. The big ring is about .6mm thinner at all of the other 4 mounting areas. You might need a thicker washer behind the crank. Install the other 4 boltss first and look for gap that's obviously not right for the old washer that fills the gap behind the crankarm. You don't want a wobbly big ring.

I'm using 10 speed cranks and chainrings with 11 speed chain and derailleurs on my Legend for the last couple of weeks with no problems.

I've been told that people do it, and that it works fine, and I don't see what the problem would be. The bolts line up just fine.

I've done the reverse. A team mate gave me a good deal on a SR crankset, that I intended to use to replace a broken Chorus 10 crank with the rest of the group being a Chorus/Record 10 mix. It was suggested to me that I might do better with 10 speed chainrings. I happened to have some (one new and one in great shape) and I figured that, whatever the present performance issue, swapping the rings would give me great 10 speed performance now, and save the 11 speed rings in case I decided to make the move to 11 in a season or two. Works just fine and dandy.

Yes but there is NO reason to use 11s rings with a 11s system if ya got a 10s ringed crank. I have had this on a demo Moots for 2 years w/o any problem whatsoever.

Somebody should update this: compatibility check tool (http://wheelworks.co.nz/drivetrain.php)

It doesn't cover Campy 11 spd, and you always wonder how accurate things like this are.
