I have been thinking of my good friend and skinny tire advocate Pete and praying for his speedy recovery. For some that don't know him personally what better way than to post some of OUR favorite Pete pictures here.

Please add some of your own with captions

Great pictures! Thank you, Smiley!!!

On a ride at the beach a couple years back, pictures were taken with Serotta Pete, Tom Byrnes and a few others on the ride with us...

I wish I had some of those pictures now to post here.

It was hard enough to get those pictures small enough to post them, let alone try and tilt them! Those are actual hills in and around Los Alamos, CA in 2009 that Pete climbed. Tom Byrnes can vouch for Pete!

Paul's right. No need to tilt any pictures.

We do a lot of climbing at our Spring Camps, e.g., Figueroa, Jalama Beach, the nameless climb from Cambria back towards Paso Robles with the 22% section, etc.

Pete's like a diesel truck. He climbs in a steady, relentless, neverending pace.

I am trying to locate pictures I have of Pete and will post them when I find them.

Like everyone else, it's great to see our Pete back - up and about.

I expect I will trying to latch onto Pete's wheel again this spring.

MARKIE, PHIL, and the brothers BOB and PAUL from NJ will need to partake.

So basically, Pete is a younger slimmer Ulrich like climber...whose only PED is a glass of red at the end of the ride (as I have surmised through other posters and pictures).

Pete, I am new to this forum, but would love to go for a ride with you and your friends if your ever out in Colorado. about 80% of my closest friends are those that I have met in cycling. Friendships forged on long bike rides that included conversations that covered the spectrum. What a blessing it is to have friends that love and care about you/for you....through good times and bad.

Brain Graves, Dash, Steve, Bill Davis and his friends are wonderful. I can assure you that I am not a slimmer younger ULRICH but RED is a after feast!!!
