That second photo would be great to show the suffering involved in cycling...BUT...the hairy guy with the white short shorts and the long sleeve flannel shirt open up and tied at bottom is just too scary for words. Did we really dress like that in the early 80's?

I went to Colorado Springs to see if J. Vaughters could break the US hour record some time back..It was pretty well publicized..there were 12 people there, looking at the hour record attempt pic of Merckx in Mexico City.
