I think that you have been mashing something, but it sure ain't been potatoes. :) :)
some attention. i was worried sick thinking i would have to go
ride my bike in traffic.
Sandy,
have you decided on which brand of altimeter to get for your
new hill climbing rituals?

About the possibility of riding your bike in traffic, would you please take Kevan with you?? :)
But much more importantly, a very significant potato mashing question- Does your friend mash in a clockwise or a counter clockwise direction?
No altimeter for me. If I start getting nose bleeds, I will know that I am too high up in the moutains.

If only my wife would let me use the KitchenAid to stir up a batch of cement to patch up the patio...

If it's only a 5 quart, it doesn't have the proper power for cement...
I use a ricer for my mashed...it makes them sooo much smoother than the Dewalt.

I am using an upside down Apache attack helicopter. It's the best of all worlds. It makes laaaaarge quantities of really smooth mashed potatoes. It looks so neat hovering there above the ground, and you can use it to go for a rde while you are eating the potatoes. Patent pending. :)
Upside Down,

You know, for slicing real thin sections for making potato chips, nothing works like a rear 36 hole O4CD spinning at about 53 mph on the rollers. My wife just sits on a stool next to the wheel with a bucket of potatos and starts feeding them through.
Now we just need to figure out how to keep Rhea basset from running up and stealing them.
William  :)

Now I finally got the direction of your initial post. Mashers should mash (pedals or potatoes). What should spinners do? Spin some yarn? Spin like politicians do? Spin like a top? Please let us know. :) :)
Spinning Sideways Sandy
