How typical - one of the councilmen says "Hey, what a great idea, why don't we include some of the major roads in my area?" Pretty soon the only place we'll be allowed to ride will be in our basements.

As usual the comments to go with the story are half the fun.

It's enough to turn me into a Libertarian or cause me to move to Idaho.

No car yet. Saw a Volvo C-20 on my way into work today.

Maybe I'll be asimilated by the Borg so I can get a Chevy Tahoe or some similar behemoth.

Take heart though, the current SCOTUS nominee says just because there's a law doesn't mean we should enforce it.

In other words, just ride wherever you want no matter what some pesky law says.
