I have always liked the "robotic" look of the BMC bikes... Not sure about their performance, durability or ride quality.

This is still an R&D kind of bike, therefore the crappy finish on the CN pictures. Curious to see when the final product is out and available.

Cheers!

To me they look like crap. I'm not saying they don't ride great and perform great. I just dislike the looks. To each his own.

I like what I see. This making-of video sure makes the manufacturing process look sexy.

Pretty bad ass seeing the robot weave the fiber. I think this is the first frame that they are making in Switzerland I think all the others were made in Easton's factory in Taiwan, but I could be wrong.

It will be a ton of money, but at least they are offering something different in the world of carbon fiber construction.

Someone on Velonews commented that the bike looked like Legos....I could not agree more

I liked the old look, but the Impec does nothing for me.

That's funny. That distinctive look makes them so unique and hot to me, if money were no object I would certainly have a couple of them among a vast stable of contemporary racing bikes.

I'd be scared to buy a bike that was built in the dark.

I like the look for some reason. Not sure I would buy one, but I want to see one in person or even better, ride one.

I was lucky enough to be staying in an apartment across the road from the BMC, Garmin, Rabo & HTC team buses before yesterday's stage out of Morzine and got this snap. In the flesh it looked pretty impressive, but I'm not sure I'd ride one though.

Sorry to disagree with most of the previous posts- but this bike looks butt ugly to me. It looks like the "screwed and glued" bikes that Sean Kelly used to ride- pretty industrial looking to me.
The Colnagos that B Box are riding...now that's a pretty bike.

That's retarded. Carbon braided sleeves have been available for...EVER.

Buy your own here, $2-3 bucks a foot.

It's not for me, but it's nice to see a bike that looks different in a good way.

Why do even simple paint jobs on most modern bikes have to look like Tokyo by night?

I like the simplicity of the Rabo Giants. The saddle-to-bar drop is killer, but they look nice, elegant.

So what I gathered is...

Instead of having a worker place the sleeve in the mold, the robot does it.

And they use resin infusion to control the fiber/resin ratio (which has been around for quite a while).

Snore...

Feed us more marketing, BMC!

I agree.... The Nagos are beautiful, but nothing "special" about them. Just take a closer look at the drop outs for instance. I merely think of the BMC's as funky, modernistic... In an artful sort of way.

Now, if only the MeiVicis could show some kind of progress in that area, that will be great; the MeiVici AE in my view, looks like an over-built road bike when set up as a road bike!

The MeiVicis are great riding bikes (I own 2) but many shy away (from buying them) when they compare them to the current bikes and this is not just because of their high cost!
