Can you use new "Ultra" cable set on older Brifters

I'm currently using these new cables on Centaur Ultra's, but forget to inspect them to see if they would work on older Brifters.

As long as you have the proper ferrules for the ergo body end of the shift cables, they will work. The Campy kit does not come with enough. Generic 4mm ferrules should do.

Thanks for your reply. I figure I might as well use the "Ultra" cable sets for all my bikes. I have a good supply of ferules in 4MM and 5MM.

Yes with some 4mm ferrules but use 5mm lined housing, I suggest brass ferrules..works better/longer than the 4mm 'Ultra' stuff or any 4mm stuff for that matter.
