The checker at the grocery store told a guy with a British accent to have a great Fourth. I almost died laughing inside.

Hope everyone had a great day!

I took a drive in my Porsche in the mountains to the beach, had BBQ food, watched Le Tour and then went and saw a fireworks show at a local high school near where we are vacationing.

All in all, a pretty perfect day...

Excellent day. Did a bit under 30 in the late AM, past mid-day, after watching some tennis. Took the kids to the pool. Then took the kids to hit a block party on a fairly steep block in Arlington that provided a nice direct view of the Washington Monument across the river, and hence the fireworks.

Love the 4th -- hope everybody else had a great time.
