Do Crank Bros cleats work with SPD?

Considering a set of Crank Bros pedals for my mtn bike and, as I use my mtb shoes on the spin bike at the gym, I need to get something SPD compatible for class. They look more or less the same. Am I missing something?

I don't think the crank bros cleats will work in SPD pedals, I also don't think that SPD cleats will work in egg beater pedals.

I've been using SPD's on my MTB for a couple years now, no problems. Might be easiest to just get SPD's for the MTB.

the cleats are different and CB cleats will NOT clip in to SPD pedals...

they MIGHT clip in but it won't be pretty.
