that's a great looking crankset.

my old legs might want to experiment with 48/32.

Nice looking! The question is, where can they be purchased?

Those are sharp looking, particularly the silver.
48-32 would be interesting. What cassette would you use with it?

Who thinks it would work with Campy 10 or 11?

Any prices out for it yet?

Do you have to add a spacer to the axle to use the granny gear? It looks pretty sleek.

The chart says no Campy, but who's keeping you from trying?

Doesn't work for me....
I don't like the way the outer ring sits behind the spider.
Don't care for outboard BB bearings in general
And the "low Q factor" may work for some body types but not mine.

On the plus side it does at least provide some usable gearing options for non racers.

145 mm Q-factor - why, that's almost as low as a 52-year-old Campagnolo Record crankset design! (But 16 mm wider than a 61-year-old Stronglight 49D). ;)

I'm sure it would work with Campagnolo 10 or 11 or 9 or 8 or shimano 10 or 9 or....Cranks are remarkable tolerant of different FDers and chains and shifters.

Match the FD to the shifter, the chain to the cogs(10s-10, 9s-9s, etc.)and it will work fine.

The 52x36 option looks like it might give a nice wide range of gears.

This crankset looks like it answers one of the items on my "What do you want?" list. The 46/32 and 46/30 options would give the versatility of a triple. A 46/11 is big enough for 99.9% of my riding. With this setup, you'd essentially live on the 46, and just use the small ring for steeper climbs.

I'd buy one of those,I've been waiting for Velo Orange's offering to come out but I may prefer the Sugino... http://velo-orange.blogspot.com/2010/02/grand-cru-crank.html
