Hi,
I've got one of these on my commuter bike and am having a challenge using the combination of the small ring (34) and the last three cogs on my 9spd tiagra cassette. The chain keeps rubbing on the inside edge of the larger chainring. I'm stumped as to why this is happening as it was not doing so before.

One thing that came to mind is that the rings, when taken off the crank body reveal 5 very thin copper spacers that were designed to be placed between the ring itself and the crank body. These rings would be held in place by each of the five ring mounting bolts. Right now I've got the spacers between the inside edge of crank mounts and the small ring. I'm wondering whether these should instead be mounted on the outside edge facing the larger ring. Tried contacting FSA but am getting impatient waiting for a reply.

As a second Q, I've never seen spacers like this used on any other cranks...are these put in so that the crank can double as a 10spd crank when the spacers are taken out?

Cheers,
Pierre
