that will posts to Serotta Forum.... Any recommendations would be appreciated. Trying to posts pictures of Cycles on forum to smaller size that will still show a nice size picture and not a thumbnail size one. THANKS Pete

iPhoto should do it easily as well. Or just put em up on Flickr or some similar site and then link to em - uses no forum resources and you can have larger and better looking shots.

Preview & iPhoto both can do it.

Flickr and some other photo sites won't show up on many computers in the workplace....but that's a configuration set-up by the IT dept.

Flicker is best and once you have the account set up if should be a One click process from Iphoto. Bottom, right of screen. No resize needed. Copy the mage address from the flicker page of the large pic and post using the image button.

If you want to resize for posting, I export the pic from Iphoto to my desk top using the "export" option under the "Edit" pull down menu.

It's in the same place in Aperture.

So resizing 'em for posting to the Forum site is best, IMHO.

Yeah, Pete, in Aperture, go to the file menu and select "export" and then select "version". Then a big box will pop up so you can point to where you want it saved and under "export preset" near the bottom, there's a drop down menu with a bunch of choices for sizes and formats. If you don't like any of them, go all the way down to "edit" and create a new preset with the size and format options you prescribe. Then you can save it for future use.

At least that's how it works in Aperture 3 - not sure about earlier versions.

That feature hasn't changed since like 1.2 when I started using it... it's been there forever.

You can also just select the pictures you want, right click, select "export versions" from there as well IIRC.
