Pegoretti question

I have a Peg Duende, bought secondhand last year. I love it more than is healthy. It has the black paintjob, with the purple and gold highlights, and the name on the downtube is "Dario Pegoretti", rather than just "Pegoretti".

Given the stellar knowledge base of Forum -does anyone know what year my frame was made? 06, or so?

You have a lovely paint job and frame there! I had this for 2 years, then sold to a Forumite here to fund the custom Marcelo. This paint scheme is from the 2006 model year. It is one of my favorite paint schemes. Took a lot of egoic management to let mine go, but found a lovely home with its new owner.

im not a fan of most of the peg paintjobs ive seen...but this one looks great !

It is indeed the "ethnic" paint scheme. 2006 seems to be the answer. This is fitting, as it is wearing a 2006 Record groupset.

Mine looks alot like yours did RkyMtn- just 1 cm smaller.

Perhaps the best compliment I can give it is that when riding I never actually give it a thought- I could'nt tell you whether it is stiff or smooth- it just IS. Hope that does'nt sound too silly, or existential, but its the truth.
