can anyone tell me what that is--is colorado tubing like nivachrom, brain, genius, etc?

yep. Colorado tubing has been made of a few different alloys and by a few different manufacturers over the years but it's all "Colorado".

a guy with an '89 said his is columbus SL
and i don't know if nivachrome is different or what the alloy is and just wanted to know more
