View Full Version : *** Sold *** Big Ottrot Frame and (new) F3 Fork

*** Sold ***

I bought this frame and fork last year off the 'bay, but it just ended up being a little too big for me to make it work. Seat tube and top tube measurements were in the ballpark, but I hadn't allowed for the slope of the top tube and the corresponding increased head tube length. Even with a slammed -17 degree stem, the bars were just too high.

But I loved the Serotta handling, so I ordered myself a new Classique Ti with an F3 fork (see my post in Serotta gallery). Since Iíd cut the fork on this frame so short in my quest to try and make it fit, Iíve moved it to my new frame and am including the brand new fork in this sale.

The original owner of this frame had his name put on the top tube (under the clear coat). My solution to this was to order my own stickers with my own name from Victory Circle Graphix (http://www.vcgraphix.com/). These covered the original owners name perfectly.

This is a lovely riding and handling frame in very good to excellent condition, looking for a home with a large cyclist. Included with the frame and fork are a Serotta seat post collar, a shim for a 27.2 seat post (post size without shim is 30.9), a Serotta compression plug for the fork, and front and rear brake nuts. Iím asking $1600, shipped in the Continental US. Please let me know if you are interested and would like additional information and or photos.

Thanks for looking!
