Does anyone know if there will be any TV broadcasts of the Giro? Versus is not covering it and Universal Sports seems to only offer online broadcasts. Why does the Giro always get short changed in terms of coverage?

Thanks,
Bob

That's an easy question. Ask the average American to name one winner of the Giro. Or ask what color is the leaders jersey.

Killer race though. Much harder that the Tour in my opinion. I'm going to watch every day.

I disagree on the much harder. Maybe the course is harder sometimes, but the race is not harder. You don't have the team strength of the tour.

Check out the Stage 16 mountain time trial. Reported to be 22% and 24% grades up there....

I love Universal Sports - watch from anywhere for free. What's not to like?

If you really want to watch on a big screen pick up the cords to plug your computer into the TV and make another pot of coffee.

yes a TdF stage win is much more prized than a Giro stage win, therefore the competition is harder.

Nice that Universal Sports is free on digital over the air broadcast here in socal.

except fot the incessant ads for with images of distressed animals that need help, or Starsky telling me how to fix my credit. or the Lap Band..

Second Universal Giro coverage. It was great and even better when I connected the computer to the tv. The newer computers use HDMI which makes connections a little easier.
