Wonder what the gold is plated to. Titanium, steel, aluminum, or carbon?
Wonder if the crystals dampen the ride, kinda like the Specialized Zerts?

good god.
For that much money, it should come with a professional rider who can ride it for you.
Also, it doesn't say if it is custom geometry. I hope it is, cuz... you know, geometry is important for bikes that are hung on the wall.

I'm not sure if I'm a feinschmecker or not....
My feng is pretty much shui. My Chi may still be out of alignment, though. Dunno.
I wouldn't pay a penny over $100K for one of those bikes anyways! $114K is extravagant. My wife would object. :D

That's a super interesting that wood wall rack you have, where's it from? Sorry to the OP for the off-topic post.

Fer sure. With the favorable exchange rate, that's only $7500 or so for a rack.

I told you that Ferrari Colnago was a good deal.

I'm savin' up for an f355 Berlinetta, though, so I have to watch my pennies.

It is a Conde Rack. Very sturdy and pretty.

You can order it from them directly, or do what I did, go to LBS and have them order it from QBP.
It holds the bike really well in my shrine of RS.

I really like the strap. I currently have mine hanging over my TV, which would be toast if it fell.

Who is the builder for these Arumania bikes?

Probably Sumgai. ;)
Whoa, I could buy FOUR (4) Factor 001s for the price of one of those things:
http://www.factor001.com/the-factor-001
At about $22K pounds, I thought the factor 001 was the ultimate. OK, the factor 001 has a list weight of 16.2lbs or about as heavy as a Trek Madone with ultegra, still, I guess there is one born ever minute....

My bike guru just built a guy what may be the lightest fully-geared bike around: Guru Photon, DA Electric, Zipp carbon crank, Edge wheels, all carbon bits. 13.1 pounds ready to ride. The price? He's not talking, but rumors are circulating near $20,000. I'm figuring that represents about $7,000/pound over a darn fine 15 pounder. Oh well, the guy has the money to spend and enjoys it. It does not, however, have a crooked Brooks saddle like the gold plated fixie in the OP.

Eh, 13.1?
Your bike guru needs to get out more often. ;)
(Although 13.1 with Di2 is pretty darned impressive!).
Friend of mine has a Z5 in the 13's...with a Powertap rear. Another with a Z3 in the 12's with race wheels (w/a 55cm frame).
I eat more at dinner than most of those bikes weigh, so who the hell am I to talk!

I just perused the Business Week link showing the world's most expensive stuff...what a lot of good that money could do if it weren't wasted on sh*t like this.

Not only is the saddle crooked, but the tires aren't even on straight.
