i need to find a good custom tailor in the LA or OC area.
any recommendations?

It would probably help to say for what kind of tailoring. Shirts? Suits? Lady Gaga outfits?

If you're looking for business apparel (suits, dress shirts, etc.), I recommend William Yu (www.williamyutailor.com). I have twenty-year old suits that still look brand new and they're a bargain - 40%-50% less than comparable tailors.

OK, there's a problem. They're located in Hong Kong. They can turn a suit around in a week but you've still got to go there. Or, wait for them to come to the US. They usually make at least one trip a year.
