when i was in high school
i rode my schwinn 10 speed road bike
and could do all sorts of tricks...
...my favorite was riding a wheelie
block after block
...or no hands up hills
around corners...everywhere...
if i tried a wheelie now
i'd be in the hospital for a week!
i'm thinking it's just because i'm old
and less adventuresome...
but you know,
i don't see any other roadies out there
popping up their front wheels either...
so, have i instead become a conformist
to the non-wheelie riding roadie consortium...??

I had friends that could pop wheelies on there varsitys or is that varsities when I could barely lift the thing of the ground. There is that scene in American flyers.
