Tune Skewer

Is anyone out there using the Tune DC 14 skewer?

I find that I cannot get it tight enough with my Serotta S3 fork, whereas the back is just fine. I added a spring to the side with the lever, and now it works just fine. Anyone have a similar problem with the front quick release? Think my solution might pose any possible problem? Thoughts and ideas much appreciated.

Dont know if the version i had a year ago was the same but oh did those skewers suck :/ Couldent trust them so i got rid of them.

Maybe the new are better?

Any way to tell the difference between new and old? What are you using instead Björn?

I really like them!

Think they have some gold ones under clearence items that they say work for road and mtb but normally the red are for road and gold for mtb.

Dont know whats the difference but mine dident look like the d 14 when i googled them. I prolly had an older variant.
