I'm looking to get a pair for my 11 yr old son - these are rides of 15 miles or less but some trail riding. We went out for a 5-miler on this first warm weekend and he complained about his "bottom" hurting.

On my Google search, Aerotech Designs has a full line of clothes. Any opinons or other suggestions?

Thanks in advance...John (who's bottom is probably too well padded)

What you get for the price can't be beat. They have women-specific ones as well. I bought a bunch of XSM for my kids, it fits my oldest (12yr-old) perfectly, the rest have to wait for them to grow up. :D

I bought that...
...and a wind vest: http://www.velowear.com/products/1010795PRTXSM.aspx

....and a pair of high-quality long-sleeve jersey (looks like they're gone), all $9.95 special* :D

the kids are ready to go biking with their dads.

REI brand is the ticket for both padded road short and padded mtb baggies

My skinny 9 year old has a pair of Craft that seem to work well...

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm trying the REI mtb baggy shorts. In part, I'm not sure if he'll like the lycra shorts and secondly, I used my member rebate and 20% coupon for members (type MEMBER20).

I like Voler so that may be an option after he outgrows these.

Cheers.
