I am thinking about buying and older Concours CS. Can anybody tell me how they ride? I have a 1996 steel Colorado. I would it compare?

Awesomely.

With the same wheels, tires, and tire pressure, it should ride more sublime. It will also be somewhat lighter and should be more lively (all other things being the same)

I had a Concours and it rode very well. I had 3 other ti bikes at the time (now I have none). If I were to have only one ti bike, the Concours would be at the top of the list.

I had a CSI (steel) and now have a Concours. For me, at 150 pds, the CSI was stiffer and rode more harshly (same wheels/tire combo). I like the Ti ride and it is more comfortable to me than the CSI was.

sorry to be a little contrary but I had a Concours CS
at the same time as my Atlanta and I found it to ride
more harshly than the steel bike
I think it was the carbon rear that did it.
So I had a legend (all ti) made with longer chain stays
and a few other subtle changes. The Legend is smooooth
and is still my main squeeze after seven years.
I sold the Concours to a friend in CA who loves it
Different strokes, I guess

IMNSHO, all ti (Concours OS) rides better than ti/carbon (LaCorsa).

Aside: And I just put Easton EC90 carbobars on the Concours, and holy mother of Eddy ... what a change.
