Boring but on topic: replacements for 8 spd sti

ok so it ain't world peace and the search function might serve me well but in the spirit of more generating more bicycle threads: dead ultegra triple sti on tandem. No desire to upgrade entire drivetrain. Don't particularly want to go to bar ends. Any experience with Shimano st-2200 shifters?

And in the spirit of spirited debate: Shimano sucks, Campy rebuildable ergo shifters rule.

Kirk-pal, today may just be your lucky day....and mine.

But you didn't specify which side has gone bad.

Anyway I have in my possession a triple 8spd lever (left) brand new that I have been trying to give away...er, I mean, look for a buyer for the longest time. Note, it's just actuating part of the replacement, not the whole lever itself.

it's RSX, do you think it will mate well with the ultegra.
