View Full Version : Does anyone make an inline pass-through cable adjuster with fixed travel range?

By fixed travel range I mean similar to index shifting so the amount of cable pull is the same each time the adjuster is actuated. I’m looking for something similar to downtube adjusters that have a lever with a define travel range instead of the threaded barrel style, or one that would work like a Shimano brake caliper release which has fixed travel (except that in a caliper quick release the cable doesn’t pass through the adjuster).

Thanks in advance for pointing me in the right direction.

Jagwire makes some. They are a big improvement over the in-line adjusters that do not have detents (clicks).

Thanks. I'm looking for something more like a brake quick release with a lever that can release or pull cable. They have a lot of models but all seem to be slow to open or close. DO you know any that are quick in operation?
