Did I read that somewhere that there was one at NAHBS?

If so, can someone post up a pic or a link to a pic of it?

I'm just really curious to see it.

Muchos Gracias!

Mark

Bike is on top left.

Even with a suspension fork, this puppy is super lite. ;)

I'll work on better images ...

Thanks!

Do you know what the scoop is on the head tube that frame was built with? Looks to be oversized - but not a tapered headtube. Any details?

Ok folks, here's the scoop.
This is a Ti 29'er that we did for Aleksandra Rokita Mooradian for the upcoming US Cup and World Cup MTB series.
The goal was to build her a full race 29'er that actually fit and was as close to 20lbs. as possible. This ended up coming in at 20.5lbs w/pedals so I would say the weight goal was achieved.
The bike is equipped with all the new SRAM XX stuff and Stan's wheels.
The head tube design is based around the relatively new (released last year) King Inset Headset with a 44mm outside diameter.
The head tube is a 2.0" OD 3/2.5 Ti tube with bonded in aluminum headset carriers. No real trickery, just straight forward common sense design.
I'll try to get more pics up soon.

Awesome. That bike is seriously lust worthy! Would love to see more pics. A 20 lb. MTB 29er must be a blast to ride... Mmmm

BB30 or threaded bb?
The bb is threaded with a 73mm bb shell. I've been riding 29ers for a few years now and this one is the nicest I've seen. Totally custom with the weight of carbon. Great job by Kelly, like always.

Thanks everyone for appreciating my new race machine. As a girl I am concerned with the look of my bike, but as a racer its all about the quality of the ride. The last two seasons I raced on a full suspension Specialized S-works Epic, but after my first test ride on the bedford 29er, I can honestly say:the Bedford went way above my expectations. This bike feels so fast and responsive. With the short chainstays and low front end it feels like a 26in bike in the turns. I'm excited for the first race at the end of this month in California. Thank you Kelly.

How short are the chainstays?

Can you post full build info?
Tubeset- butted, headtube size, geometry, etc..?

The chainstays are 44.0cm, about as short as you can go with a 29er and still have any clearance at all.
This was with a 73.5 seat angle so of course with a slacker seat tube angle you would go longer.
Head tube angle is 69.5, top tube length is 58.5.
Tubing is plain gauge .035 wall 3/2.5v titanium, 34.9mm top tube, 38.1mm down tube and a 2" dia head tube....nothing exotic.

Is that effective top tube?
What is headtube length
BB Drop
Saddle Height
Saddle setback
Drop from saddle to bars
Reach fron tip of saddle to center of stem (middle of bars)
Not trying to pick- just trying to eduacte myself on 29'er specs
