technically, our first season opener after a long and snowy winter (not over yet)...our brains need to be thawed out, so maybe thwart-pal can even be forgiven for the offense, which I am sure is prompted by his over-exuberant excitement.

Indeed, my winter brain hasn't thawed out yet. Even the overheated excitement of the spring cycling season finally starting wasn't enough to have it function correctly.
